Musicology was founded by Jeff Hanson, a respected music industry executive who has helped develop and manage artists that have gone on to shape modern rock and popular music.
Throughout his career, Jeff has worked closely with artists such as Creed, Paramore, Sevendust, and Taylor Swift, gaining firsthand experience in artist development, touring, and the music business.

Band & Artist Development
From Practice Room to Performance
One of the most powerful ways students grow as musicians is through playing with others.
Musicology helps students develop band skills by pairing musicians with others at a similar level and guiding them through rehearsals, collaboration, and live performance opportunities.
Students learn:
- How to play and rehearse as a band
- How to listen and collaborate with other musicians
- Stage presence and performance skills
- The discipline required to perform at a high level
These experiences build confidence, creativity, and a deeper love for music.
Workshops

- Songwriting
- Using tools like Suno for music creation
- Recording and producing music

- Open House events with initial student assessments
- Grand Opening celebrations
- Monthly Parents Night Out / Movie Nights (7–10 PM on select Saturdays)
