What to Expect
Your initial contact with Musicology is designed to be relaxed, informative, and encouraging for both students and parents.
During the free assessment you can expect:
- A chance to talk with a Musicology’s experienced team member
- Discuss skill assessment to understand the student’s level
- Time to talk about musical interests and goals
- A recommendation for the best program moving forward
This helps ensure each student starts in the right place and feels confident as they begin their musical journey.
Skill Assessment
Every new student begins with a call, interview and skill assessment.
This is not a test, but a way for us to understand the student’s experience level and place them in the right program.
The assessment helps us determine:
- Current musical ability
- Instrument experience
- Learning goals
- The best program fit
For Parents
Parents are welcome to attend the trial lesson and ask questions about programs, scheduling, and the learning process.
Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where students can grow both musically and personally.
